Expresiones de tiempo: "by" y "by the time" Para indicar la fecha límite o hito (*milestone*), utilizamos by antes de un sustantivo o fecha (*by Monday*, *by 2030*), y by the time cuando introducimos una oración con verbo. Recuerda esta regla de oro: después de *by the time*, el verbo principal va en presente simple, no en futuro (ejemplo: *by the time the deadline arrives, we will have finished the main project*).

Future Perfect for Milestones and Time ClausesSubject + will have + past participle + by / by the time + time clause

• by the time + presente simple: by the time the deadline arrives (para cuando llegue la fecha límite). Regla clave En las oraciones con by the time, el verbo que sigue va en presente simple (no en futuro), mientras que la acción principal usa el future perfect (will have finished / will have developed).

SujetoEstructuraEjemplo de hito / meta
I / You / We / Theywill have + past participlewill have finished the report
He / She / Itwill have + past participlewill have developed the plan

By next month, our team will have developed a plan for the project.

By the time the deadline arrives, we will have finished the main project.

Usa by + expresión de tiempo (ej.
No uses *will* después de by the time. Di *by the time the deadline arrives* (presente simple), no *will arrive*.
