EXPLICACIÓN

Teoría y puntos clave

Consejos con should Usa should para dar consejos: *You should rest* (Deberías descansar). Es una recomendación, no una orden. Para decir lo que NO debes hacer, usa should not o shouldn't: *You shouldn't go to work*. Errores comunes • No digas *You should to rest*. Después de should va el verbo sin to. • Para preguntar, invierte el orden: *Should I see a doctor?* (¿Debería ver a un médico?). • Should es igual para todas las personas: *I should*, *he should*, *they should*. ¡No cambia! Tip: En una emergencia, llama a una ambulance. Si solo tienes flu o fever, descansa y bebe agua. ¡Cuídate!

GRAMÁTICA

Deberías: dando consejos con should

Should: Giving AdviceSubject + should + base verb

Usamos should para dar consejos o sugerencias. Es una forma de decir *"es una buena idea"* o *"es lo correcto"*. La estructura es simple: sujeto + should + verbo base. El verbo no cambia con la persona. • *You should rest today.* = Deberías descansar hoy. • *She should drink water.* = Ella debería beber agua. Para la forma negativa, usamos should not (o shouldn't): • *You should not go to work.* = No deberías ir al trabajo. Para preguntar, invertimos el orden: Should + sujeto + verbo? • *Should I see a doctor?* = ¿Debería ver a un médico? Should es un verbo modal: no lleva *-s* en tercera persona y no usa *do/does* para preguntas o negaciones.
