El clima en inglés: ¡sin artículo!
En inglés, para hablar del clima NO usamos artículo. Decimos "It's sunny" (Está soleado) y "It's raining" (Está lloviendo), nunca "It is the sunny". El sujeto siempre es "It", igual que nuestro "hace" o "está".
Trucos para recordar
• Sun (sol) → sunny (soleado): ¡solo añade "-ny"!
• Rain (lluvia) → raining (lloviendo): usa el verbo con "-ing" para la acción.
• Para preguntar, usa el chunk "What's the weather like?" (¿Cómo está el clima?). Es una frase fija: no digas "How is the weather?" aunque suene lógico en español.
Practica con las flashcards: asocia cada palabra con una imagen mental (sol brillante, lluvia en la ventana, nieve en el suelo).

El verbo be con adjetivos del clima
The verb be with weather adjectivesIt + is (be) + adjective / verb-ing
Para describir el clima en inglés, usamos it + el verbo be (is) + un adjetivo. En español decimos "hace sol" o "está soleado", pero en inglés la estructura es siempre la misma: It's + adjetivo.
• It's sunny. = Hace sol.
• It's hot. = Hace calor.
• It's cold. = Hace frío.
También usamos it's con el verbo *raining* para decir que está lloviendo: It's raining.
La forma it's es la contracción de *it is*. En inglés, it es el sujeto obligatorio: no podemos omitirlo como en español.

It es obligatorio en inglés. No digas *Is sunny* — siempre necesitas el sujeto: It's sunny.
