Plurales irregulares: ¡ojo con los pies y los dientes!
En inglés, la mayoría de los plurales se forman con -s (hand → hands, eye → eyes). Pero foot y tooth son irregulares: cambian la vocal, no añaden -s. Memoriza estos dos pares:
• foot (un pie) → feet (dos pies)
• tooth (un diente) → teeth (dos dientes)
Un truco: si ves oo en singular (foot, tooth), en plural cambia a ee (feet, teeth). ¡Es como si los pies y los dientes "duplicaran" la vocal!
This vs. These: singular y plural
Usa this para UNA cosa (this hand, this foot) y these para VARIAS (these hands, these feet). Es la misma regla que en español: "este" vs. "estos".
• This is my hand. (Esta es mi mano.)
• These are my hands. (Estas son mis manos.)
Presta atención al verbo: con this usas is, con these usas are. ¡No digas "these is"!

En inglés, para hablar de más de una parte del cuerpo, usamos el plural. La forma más común es agregar -s al final: *hand* → *hands*, *eye* → *eyes*. Pero hay plurales irregulares que cambian la palabra por completo. Dos muy importantes son: *foot* → feet y *tooth* → teeth. No decimos *foots* ni *tooths*. Con los plurales usamos these are (estos son) y con el singular usamos this is (este es). Por ejemplo: *This is my foot* (singular) y *These are my feet* (plural).
